Check out Jenna Talackova on the set of E!’s Brave New Girl in Toronto wearing a stunning Jill Stuart 2013 dress from Poor Little Rich Girl. The new Canadian documentary series (aka shamelessly indulgent girly TV) from Peacock Alley Entertainment is an eight-episode, 30-minute series that follows the widely publicized life of Talackova- a model and former Miss Universe Canada contestant. She’s not just any model. In fact, Jenna was given the name Walter at birth. The transgendered Vancouver native made headlines when she took on Donald Trump for the right to compete in Miss Universe Canada. Now Talackova takes on the world as she moves from Vancouver to Toronto to pursue her career and start a new life in our vibrant, fashionable big city. We think she’ll fit in perfectly. Joining her for the ride are Jenna's fun and fearless friends, the levelheaded documentary filmmaker Elena and the outspoken model and student, Dajana. The show follows Talackova as she tries to build her career in modeling, television and fitness, while balancing the competing agendas of mother hen Elena and the wild, adventurous bombshell Dajana. Brave New Girl has been shooting all summer and is set to premiere on E! this fall.
